Bracket placement

This is an unmodified preconstructed deck with no cards from the Game Changers list, no infinite combos, and no mass land denial. Its power comes from incremental Aura value and goad politics, which is the textbook profile of a Bracket 2 precon.

Power level

A solid, grindy mid-power precon that out-values goldfish and battlecruiser tables through card draw and recursion. It is built to play long games rather than to race or combo off quickly.

Matchups

It shines at four-player tables where goad can redirect threats and the politics payoffs (Breena, Mangara, Tomik) reward attacks elsewhere, and where its asymmetric wraths punish go-wide boards. It struggles against fast combo decks, heavy enchantment removal, and stax pieces that tax its many cheap Aura casts before the engine comes online.

What to watch for

Killian, Decisive Mentor and Kor Spiritdancer are the linchpins and the obvious removal magnets, so keep recursion (Animate Dead, Gift of Immortality) and protection (Shielded by Faith) handy and do not overcommit Auras onto a single unprotected creature. The deck can also stall if it draws all payoffs and no Auras, or all Auras and no bodies to carry them.
