100 CARDS.Bracket 4.

6/6. Whenever he attacks, exile the top card of each player's library, yours included, then cast any number of those cards without paying their mana costs. One attack in a four-player pod exposes four cards, and every nonland spell among them can be cast without paying its mana cost whether or not he connects, though any mandatory additional cost on the card still has to be paid; exiled land cards stay in exile. Casting without paying a mana cost forces X to 0 (CR 107.3b), so a Crackle with Power exiled this way does nothing at all.

12/12 trample. Costs less where X is the total power of creatures you control, and on your turn every animated permanent is a 4/4 that counts. Cost reduction only eats the generic and never the pips (CR 601.2f), so the floor is : Bello plus two animated permanents is eleven power and covers the whole .

4/3. Creature spells with power 4 or greater cost less, which covers seven cards here: Etali, Primal Storm, Garruk's Packleader, Ghalta, Primal Hunger, Outcaster Trailblazer, Roxanne, Starfall Savant, The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl and Wildsear, Scouring Maw. The discount reads creature spells, so an artifact on the stack never gets it. His attack trigger is the better half: every creature you control at power 4 or greater gets +1/+1 and trample, and Bello's animated permanents are all 4/4.

4/3. Entering or attacking makes a tapped Meteorite token that deals 2 on arrival and taps for any color, and tapping any artifact token for mana adds a second mana of a type it produced. Meteorites are tokens at mana value 0, so Bello never animates them; what they do is double the mana behind Crackle with Power and pay the on Umbral Mantle. She doubles Treasures the same way, which is what Bootleggers' Stash, Rain of Riches, Alchemist's Talent and Big Score are making.

4/4. A 1/1 Squirrel on enter and on attack, and creates X more where X is your Squirrel count. She is a power-4 body, so she draws off Garruk's Uprising and Outcaster Trailblazer on the way down. The Squirrels are spare bodies for stationing onto The Eternity Elevator and spare attackers for Beastmaster Ascension's quest counters.

6/6 trample. Enchantment spells you cast from your hand have cascade, and the twelve enchantments in the list all turn that on. A 6/6 also drops The Great Henge to , because the Henge reads the greatest power among your creatures and the reduction can never eat the (CR 601.2f).

3/5 haste. On enter he fights up to one other target creature, and damage already dealt to him is healed rather than added to, so two hits never stack. One hit still kills him if it meets his toughness, so at a base 3/5 fight creatures at power 4 or less. Gratuitous Violence doubles fight damage, because the source is a creature you control (CR 614.1a), which turns a 3-power poke into a 6-damage removal spell.

0/1 flying. Taps for one mana of any color. Turn-one fixing that covers the on Berserkers' Onslaught and the on Unnatural Growth. Any color is still not colorless, so it can never pay the on Null Elemental Blast.

4/4. Whenever another creature you control with power 3 or greater enters, you may draw a card. Any Bello target cast on your own turn enters already a 4/4 (CR 611.3a), so the artifact and enchantment half of the deck draws cards on the way down.

1/1 artifact creature. and sacrificing it exile target noncreature artifact or noncreature enchantment, and dying gains you 2 life. One mana of interaction for the hate permanent that actually stops the deck. Bello does not animate opposing permanents, but Mite still cannot target an opponent's artifact or enchantment creatures.

1/1. Taps for . Turn-one acceleration that puts Bello on turn two off any red source, and later it holds up the on Haywire Mite without spending a land.

2/1. Landfall adds one mana of any color. Burgeoning, Evolving Wilds, Terramorphic Expanse, Farseek, Nature's Lore, Rampant Growth and Sakura-Tribe Elder all put extra lands onto the battlefield, so the extra drops become extra mana on the turn Bello lands. It adds a color and never colorless, so it is no help to Null Elemental Blast.

1/3. At the beginning of combat on your turn it puts X +1/+1 counters on each creature you control, where X is its own power, and it counts itself, so X grows every turn. Bello's animated permanents are creatures at that moment, so they take counters too, and counters stay on a permanent that stops being a creature and apply again the next time it is animated (CR 122.2).

4/2. Enters adding one mana of any color, then draws whenever another creature you control with power 4 or greater enters. A Bello target cast on your own turn enters as a 4/4 already (CR 611.3a), so your mana rocks draw cards. Plot banks it out of hand for a free cast on a later turn.

1/1. Sacrifice it to put a basic land onto the battlefield tapped, which here is a Forest or a Mountain. A blocker that ramps on the way out, and the land it fetches triggers Lotus Cobra.

planeswalker, loyalty 3. A static +1/+0 to your creatures, a +1 that adds or and makes your creature spells uncounterable this turn, and a -2 that fights. On your turn the static pumps every animated permanent, and Gratuitous Violence doubles the fight damage because the source is a creature you control (CR 614.1a).

Equipment, equip . The wearer gets haste and shroud. Equipment at mana value 2, so Bello never animates it; its job is covering Bello himself, who is a bare 3/3. Shroud stops your own targeting too, so it is the wrong shield when you want to move the Mantle or the Boots onto him.

Equipment, equip . The wearer gets hexproof and haste, and unlike Lightning Greaves you can still target it yourself. The second shield for the commander, and the reason is CR 506.4: lose Bello mid-combat and every animated attacker stops being a creature, is removed from combat, and deals no damage.

Equipment, equip . The wearer gains ", : This creature gets +2/+2 until end of turn." Equipment at mana value 3, so Bello never animates it; it rides on something else. The order is forced, because a permanent that is already untapped cannot pay (CR 107.6): tap for mana first, and the mana floats until the step ends (CR 106.4). Thran Dynamo, Gilded Lotus and The Eternity Elevator's base ability each tap for exactly three against that , so every cycle is mana neutral and the body grows.

Taps for or . Mana value 2, so Bello leaves it alone; it is fixing rather than a body, and any color in your commander's identity is still not colorless, so it cannot pay for Null Elemental Blast.

Every land you control gains ": Create a Treasure token," which turns thirty-six lands into a second mana base. Mana value 6, so on your turn it is also a 4/4 with haste and indestructible that draws when it connects. Roxanne, Starfall Savant adds one extra mana of a type produced by every Treasure you tap for mana.

4/4 Vehicle. Enters making two Cat tokens, and attacking copies a target token you control. It is a Legendary Artifact and not Equipment at mana value 4, so Bello animates it and it attacks with no crew at all; without him it wants Crew 4, which the two Cats cover exactly. Copying a Meteorite off Roxanne, Starfall Savant is the best attack trigger it gets here.

Taps for three mana of any one color. Mana value 5, so Bello turns it into a 4/4, and it is one of three permanents here that tap for exactly three against Umbral Mantle's ; Thran Dynamo and The Eternity Elevator's base ability are the others. It makes colored mana only, so it cannot pay the on Null Elemental Blast.

. and a tap add . Mana value 2, so it stays an artifact all game. This is acceleration and filtering: it turns one generic source into both of Bello's pips on turn three.

Taps for , and plus a tap plus a sacrifice draws two. Mana value 4, so Bello animates it into a 4/4 that draws on damage. It taps for only two against Umbral Mantle's , so it loses a mana every cycle and never loops; what it is instead is one of the ten sources that can pay the on Null Elemental Blast.

Taps for , and plus a tap plus a sacrifice draws a card. Mana value 2, so it is never a Bello target. Turn-two acceleration that cashes itself in late, and one of the ten sources that can actually pay the on Null Elemental Blast.

. reorders your top three, and a tap draws a card and puts the Top back on your library. Mana value 1, so it never animates. It supplies card selection alongside Mosswort Bridge, which matters in a list with no tutor for a nonland card.

Taps for . The fastest start here, and one of the ten sources that can pay the on Null Elemental Blast. Mana value 1, so it never becomes a creature.

Taps for , or for or at 1 damage to you. Mana value 2, so it stays a rock. The colorless mode is free and it is what puts this among the ten sources that can pay for Null Elemental Blast.

legendary artifact. Taps for , which pays Umbral Mantle's exactly, so at any counter count it is the third mana-neutral carrier for the unbounded-power loop alongside Thran Dynamo and Gilded Lotus. Station taps another creature you control at sorcery speed to add charge counters equal to that creature's power. At twenty counters it gains ": Add X mana of any one color, where X is the number of charge counters," and with Umbral Mantle on it that is X mana for a untap: net X minus 3 a cycle, unbounded. Mana value 5, so Bello animates it, and animation never touches the charge counters.

Costs less for the greatest power among your creatures, and the reduction eats generic only, never the pips (CR 601.2f), so the floor is and it takes a 7-power body: Ghalta, Primal Hunger at 12/12 gets there alone, and Etali, Primal Storm and Wildsear, Scouring Maw at 6/6 need one point from Domri, Anarch of Bolas or Goreclaw, Terror of Qal Sisma. It taps for and 2 life, and every nontoken creature you control that enters gets a +1/+1 counter and draws. Mana value 9, so Bello animates it, and a Bello target cast on your turn enters as a creature and triggers it (CR 611.3a).

legendary artifact. Your maximum hand size becomes ten, and at the beginning of your end step you draw back up to ten. Mana value 8, so Bello animates it into a 4/4 with haste and indestructible, and the refill happens whether or not it attacked.

Taps for . Mana value 4, so Bello animates it, and three mana against Umbral Mantle's makes the pump loop mana neutral: every cycle is +2/+2 on a body that already has indestructible and haste. It is also one of the ten sources that can pay the on Null Elemental Blast.

instant. Choose three damage to a creature or destroy an artifact. Cheap, flexible interaction, and the mode split covers both halves of what beats this list: a mana dork or hatebear on one side, an opposing rock or a hate artifact on the other.

instant. Destroy any permanent and its controller gets a 3/3 Beast. One of two answers here to a land, a planeswalker or a resolved enchantment; Chaos Warp is the other. The 3/3 is a real cost in a deck that wants to attack, so it goes at the thing that actually stops you, not the first threat.

instant. Discard a card, then draw two and make two Treasures. Two fresh cards and two Treasures at instant speed; the Treasures help pay the on Umbral Mantle and Roxanne, Starfall Savant adds one extra mana from each.

instant. The owner shuffles target permanent into their library, then reveals the top card and puts it onto the battlefield if it is a permanent. Red's answer to an enchantment or an indestructible threat, at the price of a random replacement.

instant. Destroy up to two target artifacts and/or enchantments, and if it is not your turn you may exile a green card from your hand instead of paying. Free two-for-one interaction on somebody else's combo turn. At full price on your own turn it is still safe to fire, because your animated permanents have indestructible then.

instant with spree. untaps all your creatures and adds a combat phase if you cast it during your own combat phase, gives first strike and +1/+0, and makes Treasures off combat damage to one chosen opponent. The untap mode is how The One Ring attacks and still taps for cards, since untapping a declared attacker does not remove it from combat (CR 506.4b). It grants no extra main phase (CR 500.8), so ordinary artifact and enchantment casts from hand belong before combat. Etali and Mosswort Bridge can still deploy spells during combat.

instant. Permanents you control gain hexproof and indestructible until end of turn. Two mana that beats a wrath and a targeted answer aimed at Bello. It is also what lets you fire your own Blasphemous Act with Bello on the battlefield, since he is a 3/3 with no indestructible of his own.

instant. Counter target multicolored spell, or destroy target multicolored permanent. Exactly ten sources in the deck can pay that , because colorless is not a color (CR 105.1) and takes colorless mana only (CR 107.4c): Ancient Tomb, Karplusan Forest, Reliquary Tower, Training Compound, Sol Ring, Mind Stone, Talisman of Impulse, Hedron Archive, Thran Dynamo and The Eternity Elevator. Command Tower, Exotic Orchard, Arcane Signet, Gilded Lotus and every Treasure all fail.

instant, cycling . X damage to each creature. On your own turn your animated permanents have indestructible from Bello, so they eat it and live while the table's creatures do not; but Bello is a 3/3 with nothing on him, so X of 3 or more kills him and takes the animation with it. Cast on somebody else's turn your artifacts are not creatures at all, so they take no damage.

sorcery, costing less for each creature on the battlefield, and your animated permanents count toward that while it is your turn. Thirteen damage to each creature. It is a sorcery, so it only ever happens on your turn, which is exactly when Bello is a 3/3 inside the blast radius: kill him and every animated permanent stops being a creature and any Equipment on them comes off (CR 704.5n). Heroic Intervention first is the fix.

sorcery. Five times X damage to each of up to X targets. The payoff for The Eternity Elevator loop: unbounded mana is an arbitrarily large X and enough targets for the whole table. Gratuitous Violence does not double it, because the source is a spell on the stack and not a creature you control (CR 120.2b).

sorcery. Search for a Plains, Island, Swamp or Mountain card and put it onto the battlefield tapped. There are no Plains, Islands or Swamps here, so the real targets are a Mountain, Cinder Glade, Sheltered Thicket or Wooded Ridgeline, and it triggers Lotus Cobra on the way in.

sorcery. Two additional combat phases after this main phase, and every creature that attacked untaps at the beginning of each combat. Three swings from a board of indestructible 4/4s that draw on damage, and the untap is what lets The One Ring attack and still tap for cards (CR 506.4b). There is no main phase between the combats (CR 500.8), so ordinary artifact and enchantment casts from hand belong before the first one. Etali and Mosswort Bridge can still deploy spells during combat.

sorcery. Put a +1/+1 counter on a creature you control, then it deals damage equal to its power to a creature an opponent controls. On your turn an animated permanent is a legal choice, so a Thran Dynamo kills a blocker, and Gratuitous Violence doubles the damage because the source is a creature you control (CR 614.1a).

sorcery. Search for a Forest card and put it onto the battlefield untapped. Ten basic Forests plus Cinder Glade, Sheltered Thicket and Wooded Ridgeline are legal, and the last two still enter tapped off their own text no matter how they get there.

sorcery. A basic land onto the battlefield tapped, which here is a Forest or a Mountain. Turn-two ramp into a turn-three Bello, and the land it puts down triggers Lotus Cobra.

sorcery. Draw a card for each creature you control, and gain 4 life for each one with power 4 or greater. Cast it on your own turn with Bello out and every animated permanent counts twice over: a creature for the draw, and a 4/4 for the ferocious clause.

enchantment Class. It enters with two tapped Treasures, for Level 2 makes your Treasures tap for two mana of any one color, and for Level 3 deals damage equal to a spell's mana value to each opponent whenever Treasure mana paid for it. Mana value 4, so Bello animates the Class itself, and that Level 3 damage is doubled by Gratuitous Violence on your turn, because the Class is a creature you control then.

enchantment. At the beginning of combat on your turn it makes a red Alien token with haste that attacks each combat if able, carrying a +1/+1 counter for each invasion counter already on the enchantment, then adds one more. Mana value 4, so it is also a Bello 4/4 swinging beside the token it just made, and the tokens get bigger every turn you leave it alone.

enchantment. A quest counter whenever a creature you control attacks, and at seven counters your creatures get +5/+5. Mana value 3, so Bello never animates it, but a wide Bello turn banks several counters at once, because every animated permanent that attacks is a creature attacking.

enchantment. Attacking creatures you control have double strike. Mana value 5, so it animates and attacks with double strike itself. Double strike creates a second combat damage step (CR 702.4b), so it doubles Bello's combat-damage draw as well as the damage.

enchantment. Whenever an opponent plays a land you may put a land from your hand onto the battlefield. In a four-player pod that is up to three extra drops a round, and every one of them triggers Lotus Cobra. Mana value 1, so it never animates.

enchantment. Draws on entry if you already control a power-4 creature, gives your creatures trample, and draws again whenever a creature you control with power 4 or greater enters. Mana value 3, so it is not a Bello target itself, but it is the best payoff for them: every animated permanent is a 4/4 with trample, and one cast on your own turn enters as a creature and draws (CR 611.3a).

enchantment. If a creature you control would deal damage to a permanent or player, it deals double that damage instead. It is a replacement effect that targets nothing and rechecks the source as the damage is dealt (CR 614.1a, CR 609.7c, CR 611.3a), so it doubles combat damage, Warstorm Surge's ping, and the fights off Wolverine, Fierce Fighter, Domri, Anarch of Bolas and Knockout Maneuver. It does not double Starstorm, Blasphemous Act or Crackle with Power, because a spell on the stack is the source and is not a creature you control (CR 120.2b). Mana value 5, so it animates and hits for eight itself.

enchantment. Your creatures have base power and toughness 6/6 and are Oozes on top of their other types, and an opponent casting a spell on someone else's turn gives you a 3/3 Elephant. Both this and Bello's animation sit in layer 7b, so the later timestamp sets the number (CR 613.7): March after Bello makes them 6/6, and recasting Bello from the command zone pulls them back to 4/4. The dependency between the two is real but lives in layer 4 (CR 613.8a), so it never changes the number.

enchantment. Choose Khans for a card exiled off the top each upkeep that you may play that turn, or Dragons for 1 damage to any target whenever a creature you control leaves the battlefield. Mana value 4, so Bello animates it, and on Dragons that damage is doubled by Gratuitous Violence during your turn, because the Siege is a creature you control then.

enchantment. Two Treasures on entry, and the first spell each turn that Treasure mana paid for has cascade. Mana value 5, so it is a Bello target as well. Cascade off a Ghalta, Primal Hunger or a Bootleggers' Stash is a free spell on a turn you were casting the expensive thing anyway.

enchantment. At the beginning of each combat, double the power and toughness of each creature you control until end of turn. Mana value 5, so it animates and doubles itself, taking a Bello 4/4 to 8/8 before blockers. It triggers again on every extra combat from Full Throttle and Great Train Heist, and it stacks with Gratuitous Violence, which doubles the damage on top of the doubled power.

enchantment. Whenever a creature you control enters, it deals damage equal to its power to any target. A Bello target cast on your own turn enters already a 4/4 creature (CR 611.3a), so it arrives shooting for 4, or 8 under Gratuitous Violence, since the creature that entered is the source. Animating a permanent already on the battlefield is not an enter at all (CR 400.7), so this stays silent for those.

Enters tapped unless you control two or more basic lands, then taps for or . With eighteen basics in the list it is usually untapped, and it carries both the Mountain and Forest types, so Farseek and Nature's Lore both find it.

Taps for or . The best land in the deck and the worst one for Null Elemental Blast, because any color in your commander's identity is still not colorless.

Enters tapped unless you control two or fewer other lands, then taps for or . An untapped dual for the first three land drops and a tapped one after that, so it belongs in the opening hand or nowhere.

Tap and sacrifice it to fetch a basic tapped. Fixing that trades a turn of mana for the right color, and the land it fetches triggers Lotus Cobra.

Taps for a color a land an opponent controls could produce. Reliable in most pods and unreliable in none of them the same way twice; a color you cannot use still pays a generic cost but never the on Berserkers' Onslaught.

Basic land. Ten of them, the green half of the mana base, and the target Nature's Lore, Rampant Growth and Sakura-Tribe Elder all go and get.

Reveal a Mountain or a Forest card from your hand and it enters untapped, then it taps for or . With eighteen basics plus Cinder Glade, Sheltered Thicket and Wooded Ridgeline carrying both types, the reveal is usually live.

Taps for , or for or at 1 damage to you. The colorless mode costs nothing, and it is what makes this one of the ten sources that can pay the on Null Elemental Blast.

and a tap add . Filtering rather than ramp: it turns one generic source into both of Bello's pips, which is the turn-three play the deck is built around.

Enters tapped with hideaway 4, taps for , and plus a tap plays the hidden card for free once your creatures have total power 10 or greater. Bello plus two animated 4/4s is eleven power, so the condition is met on any normal Bello turn.

Basic land. Eight of them, the red the deck needs for Gratuitous Violence and Crackle with Power, and a legal target for Farseek, Rampant Growth and Sakura-Tribe Elder.

Enters tapped, taps for or , and turns it into a 3/3 that grows a counter each time it attacks. A manland is a threat a wrath cannot pre-empt, and it stays a land, so Bello never touches it.

Taps for and you have no maximum hand size. The One Ring draws in piles once it has burden counters on it, so the ceiling matters, and the Tower is one of the ten sources that can pay the on Null Elemental Blast.

Enters tapped unless you control a Mountain or a Forest. Between eighteen basics and the three duals that carry both types, Cinder Glade, Sheltered Thicket and Wooded Ridgeline, that condition is nearly always met after the first land drop.

Enters tapped, taps for or , and cycles for . A Mountain Forest by type, so Farseek and Nature's Lore both reach it, and the cycling is the out when the draw is all lands.

Enters tapped unless you have two or more opponents. In a normal pod it is an untapped or dual; in a duel it is not.

Tap and sacrifice it to fetch a basic tapped. The second copy of Evolving Wilds: it fixes the colors and it triggers Lotus Cobra.

Taps for unconditionally, or for or only if it entered this turn or you control a basic land. With eighteen basics that restriction almost never bites, and the colorless mode makes it one of the ten sources that can pay for Null Elemental Blast.

Enters tapped and taps for or . A Mountain Forest by type, so Farseek and Nature's Lore both reach it, but it always comes in tapped, so it is the land you play on a turn you were not using the mana.
